BoiledEggTimer.com, including its timer, is free for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to: scrape or republish the site’s content wholesale; send automated traffic to its endpoints, including the egg counter, which is rate-limited and — we’d gently note — not worth gaming; attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the site; or present our content or timer as your own work.
Cook times are guidance
Every time on this site is stated together with its assumptions — egg size, starting temperature, water start, method, altitude — and the timer adjusts for the variables that matter. But stoves, pots, pans, air fryers and eggs themselves vary in ways no website can see. Results are not guaranteed. If a time seems off in your kitchen, adjust in small steps and tell us — that’s the feedback we most want.
Food safety is your responsibility
